Today's KAUP company has its origins in 1894 in Aschaffenburg . At the beginning of the 1960s, the company was redesigned by Otmar Kaup and specialized in the production of attachments for forklift trucks. KAUP also developed container spreaders and stationary systems for material handling. Today, many forklifts perform their tasks with KAUP know-how. KAUP's product diversity, made possible by a high level of vertical integration, includes, among other things, forklift attachments such as rotary side tilting devices, bale clamps and fork positioning devices, stationary devices and accessories.
