The Cascade Manufacturing Company was founded in Portland in 1943. Initially just a four-man machine shop specializing in the machining and assembly of stainless steel fittings and stainless steel components. Cascade began developing and selling hydraulic parts in the 1950s and has also been selling forklifts, forklift accessories and forklift attachments since the 1990s.
