This fork protection (fork protection bar RSB) meets both the requirements of the BGHW trade association and the StVZO road traffic licensing regulations and therefore allows you to drive empty with your forklift in public traffic areas.
With the forklift fork protection you avoid accidents in your company and in the public traffic area, caused by the unprotected forward pointing forks of your forklift.
The fork protection bar has a safety device with wing screws to prevent the fork tines from slipping off. According to BG regulations, the tips of the fork extensions must be covered when driving empty. According to StVZO§30c(1) a reflective warning tape is mandatory, which is both right and left facing.
