Jungheinrich

The Jungheinrich company offers products such as forklifts, shelving systems and forklift accessories. The name Ameise is a registered trademark of Jungheinrich Profishop® which is often used as a synonym for hand or electric pallet truck. Friedrich Jungheinrich founded H. Jungheinrich & Co. Maschinenfabrik in Hamburg on August 7, 1953. The first branch abroad was opened in Austria in 1956. In 1958 the company headquarters and factory opened in Hamburg-Wandsbek. Jungheinrich is one of the most successful manufacturers of forklift trucks. Jungheinrich bought, among other things, the Steinbock and Boss Group . The foreign production facilities were closed and production was relocated to Germany. In 2002, the group brands MIC , Steinbock and Boss were given up and since then devices have only been sold under the Jungheinrich brand name.
